Anyone been on the upper Lory/HTMP trails? Thinking of heading up Tower tomorrow morning, just wondering what the singletrack conditions might be on the way down (Spring Creek, Carey Springs, Sawmill, etc...).

We got a good soaking storm for about 90 minutes today (2:30-4pm)....hit or miss but I'd give it until Friday afternoon.

Saturday should be amazing hero dirt provided it's done raining.

I did a quickie HTMP fireroad to Wathen last night at 6:30. The only parts of the fireroad that were even slightly muddy were around the Audra Culver straightaway section, plus tye next right turn, other than that, pretty damn good. Wathen was near perfect, though a bit sketchy at full speed, as the light dirt that stuck to the tires made the roots & off camber rocks interesting, though fun as hell. No mud on the bike post ride, just some nice wet dirt. Today should be as perfect as can be

Saw peeps coming off Blue Sky, seemed they had a bit of mud on the bikes though.

Thanks!

Appreciate the update, wanted to head out after work tonight and was afraid it would be muddy. Guess there wasn't as much rain as I thought - which rocks! Will be tearing up HTMP/Lory all night now.

Everything up in HTMP/Lory was in great shape this morning. Southridge-Springcreek-Herrington-Carey Springs-Loggers-Mill Creek-Howard-Timber. I was surprised after all the rain we've had. Hell, Reservoir Ridge and Michaud were a bit dusty by the time I hit it on the way home. Blue Sky looked muddy as I passed at the 38E crossover but I bet it's dry by now.

I hit a couple of small muddy spots on the valley trails in Lory this morning, but Maxwell, Towers, West Ridge, Wathen, Spring Creek, Blue Sky, and Indian Summer were all hero dirt.

The hard rains in the past week have deteriorated trail conditions in places, however, with washouts and ruts, so be alert. One of the more noticeable is a deep rut in the drainage on Blue Sky between Indian Summer and Coyote Ridge.
