Formula R1 Carbon Clamp

Why does it cost so much to save weight? Because people will pay for it. They are weenies after all.

But seriously, there's a guy named Elliflap or something like that on the forum. He's good at getting exotic lightweight parts. Maybe he can help.

Cranksets I can understand why they would cost so much because of the engineering, design, labor, and amount of carbon involved. But 2 small carbon clamps you can cut out from a soda can (that gives me an idea!) costing 50eu is a bit too much. So I was hoping someone out there who makes carbon parts at home can offer the same thing at a reasonable price.

One of my friends will be doing these clamps for me soon. When it is finished let you know. Price £25 ish.

the finish of the bk composites is excellent, i've got the xtr parts.

On the pictures looks as they are made really well indeed, but the price...

Just to clarify these pictures above it is not jarek's production, they are from r2-bike the guys who sell these clamps as well.

This what jarek makes, I would say requires a lot of improvement.
