yeah there is a huge difference there. the codes are for ultimate power and the K24 are more after modulation. i have both, the k24s are on my xc bike with 160mm rotors and the codes, not the 5 version, on my knolly DT ( its an all mountain that is quite fr friendly). honestly i'm really considering selling the codes for another set on k24's, the codes just overwhelm tires too easily. i had these brakes on my dh bike without this problem because i had heavy wheels and 2.5 full sticky tires.
also btw i'm a clyde (260) and have very good brake control to be honest.
