I am running one on a Banshee Rune.

So far really happy with it.

I would put the ride feel at somewhere between a Push 11.6 (magic carpet feel) and a Storia (active feel, really comes alive when things get fast or chunky).

The Mod doesn't really make itself obvious when riding but it just handles stuff and you don't really think about it other than the rear end of the bike being smooth and controlled when it gets rough.

Currently running a Formula Selva C on the front of the same bike with the silver/desert CTS module and the combination is quite good. If I flipped the Selva back to air I don't think the Mod would feel out of place and same if I slapped my Mezzer on the same bike.

I got mine from Alba in Canada and they were great to deal with.

Some additional info that might be helpful...

I'm 185 pounds and live in the mountains of central Arizona, just west of Sedona and north of Phoenix.

Our riding here is lots of rocks, trails with lots of direction changes and/or punchy climbs, a fair amount of climbing at times, and some rough and ready trails if you know where to look.

I'm definitely not afraid to try different shocks or forks as I figure that if I have tried lots of things I will have a better idea of what I like and what works.

If I had to do it all over again I would definitely go with the Mod based on what I know from using it and based on using some other shocks in the past year and change (11.6, Storia, TTX, Fox X2 air, Mara Pro).

It isn't easy to find lots of information about the Mod and for me the decision maker was that I have lots of time on all of the Selva variations and really like how Formula stuff feels and works so having those ideas or characteristics in a shock was really appealing to me but they aren't always easy to find here in the US which is why I reached out to Alba.

I don't believe Alba did any tuning on it for my bike (Rune) other than agreeing on sping (medium I believe).

The shock does come with 3 x CTS valves and I'm running the middle valve it came with.

I figure that if I feel like I need additional tuning I can ask for that when I send it back to them for service but so far between the CTS valves and spring I'm pretty dang happy with this shock.

I should mention that I have run Selva forks for a couple of years and the CTS valves do make a significant change in ride so I think that largely makes a lot of tuning less necessary as you have control over how you want the fork or shock to behave based on your bike and preference vs other shocks/forks where you get what you get and if that doesn't fit what you need then you have to find someone to tune it for that.
