what about the 07 Marzocchi 66 RC2 ETA or is the Marzocchi 66 SL 1 ATA worth the extra cash?
I thought you would appreciate some travel adjust for trail riding, along with a lighter fork.

Unless your a certified jumpaholic / DHer, I would fork out for the SL1 ATA as it would be much more versatile.

Or, I've seen there are still some '06 66 Lights (also ETA and RC2) at pretty low clearance prices, and it's a 170mm fork, just over 6lb I hear.

not expensive: marz drop off or rockshox domain, not adjustments dough
a llittle bit expensive: 66 light eta or 66 sl, the best performance to me
expensive: fox 36 rc2 and rockshox lirik or totem

FSRXC, WHRW CAN I FIND THOSE MARZ IN CLEARENCE?

on ebay there are some '06 66 Light and SL, and at some LBS here in Canada (which won't help you in Equador). Realistically they are in the US$500-600 range.

Your location may dictate which are the best fork choices. Have you checked bike shops in your area for '06 fork deals?

Another suggestion - '06 Fox 36 Talas and Van 36 can be found on ebay and internet at reasonable prices too, '07 Talas 36 is $$$ though.

I'd take a Domain over Dropoff or 66vf, I'd think damping is better.
