I just got a KHS dirt jumper....it came with the Marzocchi mz comp 100mm forks....I've decided I want to upgrage these forks so I can use these on my other bike. The forks lack travel. I will be using this as a putt around bike at Mammoth Mtn and such places... Anyone have any recommendations as to what I should get? I am hoping to pick up a nice set of used forks for under the $350 mark...... Anyone? Thanks.

Im just trying to go for something a little more plush that wont bottom on me off 3-4'ers. I weigh around 220-240 depending on season.

Well knowing it is a dirt jumper, you cant go wrong with the rock shox pike, and fox's are nice also.

maybe Im wrong but my understanding is the pikes are a disc only fork.... I was hoping to not have to switch to disc as that would increase my cost

I was in the same exact situation as you with the same exact bike and I got a sherman flick....Best fork ever:thumbsup:

It's worth dropping the front brake for a while to get a Pike.
