Fork Question

So how are the avalanche forks, i was checkin them out on the website but dont know if i should get one. They look like nice forks. It is going to be used for downhill racing, and right now i have a marzochi triple 8.

Avalanche forks use MX technology and dampers. They are valved to your weight and riding style. They use a damper that is similer to what marzocchi uses, except it's on steriods and has many more features and better technology. Bottom-out cones, adjustable compression, etc...They cost about as much as a dorado. The real question is "why not" to get an avalanche fork. They aren't very light, but they have some better options now to shave a little weight...
