I finally got my hands on a '21 Norco Fluid FS2, which I had been patiently waiting for over 1 year since my previous bike was stolen. After putting the machine through its paces on several rides ranging from XC to AM/DH, the fork needs to be replaced. I looked into upgrading the Rockshox 35 Silver R with a different damper to incorporate compression damping, but being an avid sport motorcyclist and owner of an older Lyrik with the Mission Control damper, I've been spoiled with HSC, LSC, lockout, and rebound tuning capabilities. At the bare minimum, I'm looking for HSC, LSC, and rebound. Travel adjust and lockout would be bonuses, but not sure they are common features in today's forks.

The Fluid came with a 46mm offset fork, which I've been unable to match in my cursory searches for replacement options... so I'm certain I'll have to settle for something other than exactly 46mm. I looked at both the Fox 34 and 36 Factory forks as well as RS Pike equipped with the RC 2.1 damper. Is Fox a no brainer over RS today? Interested in anything that has adjustable travel (while riding) and/or lockout as well.

Adjustable travel forks are gone. They mostly sucked and newer bikes with steeper seat angles and better pedaling dynamics don't need them.

Fork offset mostly doesn't matter for most people.

For a 120mm bike I think you'd be happy with a 34 or a Pike.

I have an old '09 Lyrik U-Turn which has been excellent, but it was not a cheap fork - understood about adjustable travel belonging to the Mesozoic era. :p

The OE fork is 130mm travel and the bike is 27.5" based - the Fox 34 apparently only comes in a 29" wheel design, so the only Fox option that apparently fits 27.5" is the 36, but travel then climbs to 150mm minimum. It does boast HSC, LSC in addition to LSR and HSR, which would be very nice. The RS Pike Ultimate would fit the bill as well, but lacks multi-speed rebound. I briefly looked at DVO, X-Fusion, Marzocchi, and Manitou, but didn't find anything quite right there.

Found something made by Cane Creek: https://canecreek.com/product/helm-mkii-air-27-5/

I’ve built 2 D1 27.5 diamonds at 130mm with one of extra travel spacer and had zero issues

Consider MRP Ribbon Coil. The new LT version has adjustable travel between 150-170mm, whereas the older version has a travel range of 140-160mm. The damper lacks HSC adjustment, but you're not missing out on much on that department. Coil spring forks do offer a considerable advantage when it comes to sensitivity, and ease of setup.

Did you look at Manitou Mattoc and Mezzer pro? Both can be set to 140mm, slightly more travel than stock but they both have every adjustment on your list, except travel adjust on the bike.
