Just curious about the fork set up for the Blur. SC seems to stock them with Fox 100s on them. Their web site says it'll work well with 80 to 105 mm of travel, but no more than 105. So what are good other options than the 100 for the Blur?

I guess if 105 is the max, then a Talas won't work.

Marzocchi Marathon's are common.
I believe that SC says no more than 105 due to warranty issues only.
Meaning they won't warranty a frame that has a fork longer than 105.
I remember seeing people running the Talas as well.

Is this a new frame you are buying?

They have changed the line up a bit, although the new bikes are available. The older "classic" blur does work fine with a 120mm or so fork although the warranty will not handle damage.

I love the way the Blur works with an 05 Marathon SL set at about 115mm.

04 Marathons were available in 105mm but 05s either are 80mm or 100-120mm adjustable.

Fox Float RLT 100 is an option. Lots of people have the Talas.

There is a bigger and bigger lack of 100mm forks.
