Fork for the new Nomad

I am considering buying a new Nomad Frame and want your opinion or fork choice. I like the RS Lyrik and the Fox 36 air forks. Is travel adjust needed with the new Nomad if being used as an all around do everything bike? I live in the SF Bay Area so there is plenty of climbing involved with most local rides. I currently am riding a Heckler with a Pike 454 Air U-Turn and the only time I ever adjust the travel down is for long climbs. The Pike has been the best fork I've ever used for trail riding and that is the main reason the Lyrik Solo Air or Two Step are appealing. I've read the Lyrik 2 Steps have had issues in the past and hopefully Rockshox has sorted out the defects by now. The Fox 36 Float and Talas are the other options.

So, what's been your experience?

lyrik solo air is awesome. Its a great do it all fork. Not very heavy, eats up the nasty stuff, and is killer when it comes to freeriding. I have used it for a year now and its held up really well. The mission control is great when climbing too.
Not trying to be an a$$hole it just comes naturally. If you do a search on this forum you'll see this question has been asked and answer'd about a million times. Hope this helps:madman:
Spicoli's right. This questions seems to come up weekly.

That said, I'm on a Nomad with a 36 Van - no travel adjust. The height is pretty perfect. I sometimes miss having travel adjust but most of the time don't need it here is southern California where the climbing is fairly steep. I think, in Norcal, you can get away with a 36 Float or Lyrik Solo Air and take advantage of the fact their lightness.
Dude i just got an 08 Fox 36 Float RC2 with 1.5 headtube for 560 Shipped to my door on ebay. AFAIK there is ONE more left. I would scoop that UP for that price!!

The new "FIT" cartridge is new for '09. Also the dampening feels much better.
What about a Zochi 55 or for the more heavier duty stuff the 66?
