Probably not as much as you think - I took the boots off of my old SX-R awhile back - if I still have 'em buried in my toolroom, I'll check the weights for you...they didn't really weigh all that much.

Hello,

the fork boots from RS Judy from year 2000 were 38g both, I used them with SID XC.

Definetely using neoprene boots (eg. Lizards) or cut boots will be lighter.
