I think you will find that everyone other than a local sale with cash will insist on using regular PayPal for the transaction - very standard for anything sold on the internet. Regardless, sorry it didn't work out and good luck
Surfnride7 , Next time be serious person , I dislike wasted time a lot
Then why post a Fraudulent sale to begin with?

Regular Paypal doesn't work for the Fraudsters using a previously sold Ebay Ad.........sigh.

Good sleuthing OldMike. How did you pick up on this? Google image search, keeping up with Ebay sales or...?
Price. No way any real owner pre or post covid would sell for that cheap.

This is definitely a scammer. User is banned but ad will be left up so people can see what constitutes a scam and how to verify the legitimacy of an ad or user.

I will take some text from the ad "This is one of the last ones produced at the end of 2020. Santa Cruz will sometimes release unpainted bikes in end of year colors like the one you see here " put it between quotes like this and then run it through a search engine. I am having problems with google doing this right, it now directs me to websites it thinks I want to see so I will do it via bing instead. Results:

Also suspicious that he states "This bike is located in Illinois" but the pix were taken in California (China Camp State Park). Sure the first one could be from a previous ride but the detail shots are taken in the same location.
It's a common scam on Craigslist for used cars. A fake sob story. Usually along the lines of "it was my husband/wife/child's car who has passed away" and they need to sell it because it is to emotionally difficult to keep. The price is always too good do be true.
