Up here in the western Whites, the holiday tourists have pounded the snow down to very rideable conditions on our local hiking trails. Trails that are too hard to ride in summer become quite fun in winter. Just rode our local Bridal Veil falls trail yesterday, very fun and the falls are spectacular. Studded tries are required, lots of great ice floes. The Kinsman bald knob trail is rideable too, though not as technical, it will crush you aerobically. Hey Radair how are the trails on your side?

The snowmobile trails in the Conway area are superb; hard and fast, as are the groomed XC ski trails. Only the most heavily travelled hiking trails are any good, many have not been beaten down enough.

We got a dusting last night, not enough to change things. Ice biking is damn good right now.
