The Southridge winter series starts on Jan 14th. I'll be headed there on Dec 26th to start getting a few DH practice runs in if anyone is interested in joining. Probably around 9am or so.

Mt Wilson has some nice stuff...if you use a bell and go down Sunset...you will be prepared

I think I'm gonna race this series. Can you practice before the races? How does it work? (I've never raced before)

From my experience you can practice there anytime you want. During the race weekend you simply show up on Saturday, sign up and take advantage of the shuttle to practice that day. Sunday you will have an chance to get another few practice runs in and then you race.

I'm going to wait until after the holidays to hit Wilson, it's just been too hard to get everyone together with all the family commitments. Will you be up for that?
