[Fish on a Bike]

Just bought my first stationary trainer a Kurt Kinetic Fluid Road... Works pretty great except that it is not exactly as quiet as I had hoped. The resistance unit makes a pretty loud squishy fluid noise when rotating at moderate speed (roughly 12 mph). Is this normal for fluid trainers, or did I get a lemon?

normal. i dont think mine does it all the time. And now I decided to go with just knobbies anyway. I like the loud buzzing noise---prob brings back memories of falling asleep at night in the military to loud sounds of generators.

Are all trainers that loud?

The sound is alot louder than my bike. I've read that it's supposed to be quiet enough that you can listen to headphones at low volume and not even hear it. That is definitely not the case.

Is the 1up trainer as loud too?
