I need your help. I'm about the put a rear shock on m Blur Classic. Is the RP23 worth the extra money over a Float R?

How handy is it really to have the Pro Pedal adjustment on this shock.

I've had the DHX5C on both my Heckler and my Nomad, I've pretty much found on the coil shocks, and particularly those rides, to be a set it and forget it type of thing.

seriously, lots of people have different thoughts on this. I run a Float R and love it. Simple, works well, light... with a Blur you have a lot less going on in terms of bob compared to other brands or designs... If you prefer a lot of low-speed compression for the rear of your bike, an RP23 would be a good choice... but for those who want fully-open rear shocks, the R works very well. If you don't know what you like, get one and start to find out!

I'd get the cheaper of the two then spend the extra cash to get it tuned by Push.

In my mind, not sure how you can go wrong with the RP23. Of course that might depend on you riding style and exactly how much you value climbing effciency

Alright, well I decided to go with the RP23. Mounted it on last night after work and it feels great. I'm really really glad I went with this.

I love the 3 way setting on the propedal, with the 3rd position it's like having a lock out.
