The mountainbike festival this weekend in Flagstaff should be fun. Does anyone know if there are ridesfit for a burley trailer with a 9 month old in it? My wife and I want to ride the kick ass singletrack but also need to ride with the kid!

Both beginner rides on Saturday and Sunday are doable. From the descriptions of Saturdays ride I can't tell if they are riding 'down' to the bottom of Fischer point from the top, or if they are riding 'out' to the bottom of Fischer point. If they are riding down, it would be all walking with the trailer for a little less than a mile, if they are riding out then it is 99% rideable with trailer.

Sundays ride is pretty much 100% rideable w/trailer. Of course none of these options are anywhere near as good as the better rides. But it's still great family fun, and that's what it's all about!!

If you want clarification on either ride, call Anthony @ Absolute Bikes @928.779.5969.

I'll be racing Sat morning, but maybe I'll see you at the park!

Just remember that a 9 month old does not have a very strong neck yet (at least compared to the weight of their head and a helmet) and too many bumps have the potential to cause harm.
