Hello,

I am having an issue with finding a way to weld correctly a flat mount tab like in the picture below, I am wondering what ways there are to hold it in place while welding so it holds correctly?
Some fixtures are available but they are either out of stock or too expensive for my pocket
is there available drawings for cnc machining a fixture perhaps other solutions for holding it in place while welding... thanks in advance for helping out a newbie

Your best bet is an available jig or to make a similar jig yourself. You mention that you have cnc capabilities, pvd has posted flat all of the flatmount specs you need to make a jig. Alex Meade, Farr frameworks, and I believe Konga cycles all have info regarding flat mount standards on their websites as well.

I just made one out of a simple piece of aluminum angle. Works for front or rear. No need to get fancy; the specs are widely available.
