Hey all I am working to get my new pedal setup complete and going the platform five-ten route. I had planned on going with the five-ten impact low's but recently saw the new model of the savant which claims to be a multisport focus and I was curious if anyone had seen or heard anything about their performance as a biking shoe.

It looks less bulky and more breathable than the impacts, though I have seen neither of them in person so I am not sure if this might be an optical illusion of the pictures on the site. I like the impacts alot but I dont want a really bulky shoe and the idea of having a shoe I could use for hiking and the like is intriguing to me.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, anyone have a pair of impacts they have used for other stuff like hiking?

Thanks for the comments guys. I kinda figured that, JiB, but was hoping that maybe it was passable. I do more riding than hiking but was hoping to possibly find something from five-ten that would be usable for both, not sure that is going to work at this point.
