A friend gave me his old fisher xcal frame, which he replaced "for peace of mind", after running into his garage with the bike on the roof rack. (Sounded more like an excuse to by a new Niner) He says there's not much risk of breakage. There is one small crease in the top tube, barely noticeable really, this is the only visible damage. I understand that aluminum can fail without warning, but this really doesn't seem too bad. I am thinking about building this frame up as it is much nicer than my current 29er frame, but I want to get some opinions from the community as to the safety of riding it. So opine, commmunity, opine!

Thanks,
DJ

Pictures would help... but then again any sort of crease or crack in aluminum tubing would worry me.
