If you've never heard, each year in coordination with the ABA Mid-West National BMX race in Rockford, IL, there is a monster vintage BMX show put on by the folks over at vintagebmx.com. I've attended in the past - and it's a ton of fun. I wasn't able to attend this year, but was looking at pictures and lo and behold - I see a vintage mountain bike! I may be mistaken, but I don't remember seeing one there before. Check out that CRAZY fork:

MCS. They made bmx mostly. There have been a ton of Cook bros cruisers there, some multi speed.

Actually, MCS still makes BMX bikes. I didn't know before seeing this picture that they ventured into mountain bikes. They started as a BMX company - and that's all they do now.

I don't think it is the same company. It has been sold 4 or 5 times. It was Greg Esser's dad George in Florida back in the day. I had one of their early magna cruisers.
