First puncture in 2 years of riding. I was riding and heard an odd rhythmic noise from the front wheel. Looked and something was on the tire. Stopped and it looked like a rock between the knobs. Flicked it out of the tire and heard the air escaping and saw the white sealant. Seconds later no more air sound and my ride continued. Delightfully uneventful. Thats all. Just happy I went tubeless.

Go the extra step and put in a cushcore xc.
Had a few tire gashes which caused me to walk home.
It's a little heavier but you can use less air giving you more traction and you no longer need to carry a tube and patches.
You can just ride out on a flat tire and it'll protect your rims.

Have you tried riding out on an CC XC? there is like no foam between the XC and your rim. Cushcore Pro yeah - you can use that as a runflat. XC no way. Unless it's just limping home on a very gentle dirt road.
