With 26x4" fat bike tires, the Aventure.2 provides sure-footed handling in all conditions.

We highlighted the original Aventure e-fat bike when it launched in 2021. It quickly gained a following for its confident handling, especially in sandy and snowy conditions.

For 2023, Aventon has updated this go-anywhere e-bike with a torque sensor (as opposed to a cadence sensor), which makes the e-bike more responsive to rider input, resulting in a more natural ride feel from the hub-based motor. The switch to a torque sensor also increases the range of the Aventure.2 to up to 60 miles on a single charge. You can read more about the pros and cons of cadence versus torque sensors on Aventon's blog.

Rear brake lights that double as turn signals alert motorists to your intentions.

The 26x4" fat tires, a 1x8-speed drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, 80mm of front suspension, and pre-installed fenders enable ridders to venture beyond paved bike paths and dirt roads. For around-town use, Aventon updated the Aventure.2 with all-new rear integrated lights that double as turn signals and illuminate the route ahead with a front headlight. Four levels of pedal assist, now ranging from eco to turbo, provide levels of pedaling assistance for all types of terrain.

The Aventure.2 comes out of the box as a Class II e-bike, with pedal assist and throttle going up to 20 MPH . It can be unlocked to a Class III e-bike and can go up to 28 MPH on pedal assist. The Aventure.2 will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an area where throttles are prohibited.

Aventon e-bikes are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your e-bike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops, but don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your e-bike.

The Aventure.2 is available now in step-thru and step-over frame designs, both of which are offered in regular and large versions to suit riders from 5'3" to 6'4".
