Hello! I am making my first bike! Its gonna be a budget offroad/downhill bmx, I'm spending only about 200 bucks, and I'm excited! Currently I bought a bike that is a haro with a 3 peice crank, has 2 rims, frame fork and bars, its trashed, so I'm gonna strip it down, and put a clear coat on it, here are pictures! (I threw some extra tires on the rims, not related)

good luck and happy tinkering! you'll probably find out the hard way why no one uses a BMX bike for "offroad" or "downhill" riding of any sort. Basket Case does it for clicks because it's nuts. what he does is for grins. it looks terrifying and expensive.

that is, unless you have a connection with Fingers Crossed.

Dude your $200 bike is not going to stand up to anything that baskett case does.
