Well gear whore how did the bike climb? Was this your first ride on the FB or did you ride it previously?

It is finally monsoon season here and it is pouring right now. Hope to go out and ride some trails that need some packing in after it stops raining.

We miss you guys here.

Just awesome. That's not whistler in the back ground......what ski resort is that?
That would be Mt. Baker. One of the Volcano's in Washington State, 10,000 ft.

Mt. Baker Ski area is on Mt. Shukson one of the side peaks. Lots of backcountry skiing in that area!

FYI, we skied 100m from the Summit last April...

Awe, the famous resort that once received 1000+ inches of snowfall in one season. So, is the ridge your on looking south towards Washington State making you on the canuck side of the border?

PS, your pics and vids of sedona and the northwest are some of the finest I've seen. Please keep it up.

that would be the one! We are very close to the american border as the bird flies. LOTS of complex terrain between though. In the third picture, the far peak to the right of my head is in the US, the peak on the left is in Canada.

Thanks!

Sharon:

As always you and Lee seem to be enjoying yourself. Good to see you haven't worn out the Firebird YET.

I was in Moab the last couple of days enjoying the higher up trails dodging lightening.

Nice! So its cooler in Moab then Sedona?! Its been really warm here! Its great! Trails are MINT!
WBP is only NOW getting dusty, although I haven't been up there much in the last month.

Lee rode the Firebird ONCE and punctured the lower leg of the Float... its in the shop getting fixed. Fortunately I have a Van36 I could put on it.
