Looking for muddy weather biking alternatives for when the trails are too wet to ride.

Preferably within 90mins of Lexington.

Any ideas?

jeep trails

I don't know for sure, but when I've done hiking around Slade, KY in the Natural Bridge/Red River Gorge area I saw a lot of lifted Jeeps so there may be something in that area don't know for sure.

491 offroad park is about 90 mins from lexington, I don't know serious of an offroader u are, but Harlan county has some of the baddest terrain you could wheel... Or haspin acres is in laurel indiana.

Spaas Creek area west of RRG. You can access some ridgetop roads which are partially closed to motor vehicles. Go to Fagan, KY, make a right at the top of the hill (looks like a driveway) and have fun.

I used to ride near Fixer on oil roads a lot too. There are tons of possibilities there.

The Sheltowee Trace south of Natural Bridge can be accessed from Standing Rock and there are lots of 4WD roads in the area.
