Some of you might know that i have been planning to build a dj/urban hardtail for a while. Well the opportunity as finally presented itself and parents have approved. I'll be spending around 1000 dollars to build up a fairly decent HT rig. At the soonest, I'll have ordered the frame by tommorow and latest by early summer.

I have narrowed down my choices to a few not too pricey frames from various online stores.

Input on the frames and/or store would be appreciated as well as suggestions (e.g. has anyone had a bad experience with a mentioned store?)

1.) Seelhead (04 from beyond bikes)

2.) block 8 journeyman (beyond bikes)

3.) Titan (05 direct from site)

4.) Weyless 67 (supergo, although im looking for a HT, a cheap, durable back-up fully may also be in the question but would prefer a HT)

5.) jack flash (pricepoint)

6.) rumble (04 greenfish sports)

7.) trail or park

thanks in advance. :D

oh ok.
well i know plenty happy people with the steelhead.
and you're probably just as aware as i of all the happy people with titans.
those are GREAT values for sure.

oh and with the t-o-p, the guys at transition might part out the kit for you,
and still give you a great deal, while you use whatever used parts you got.
talk to them, they're great to deal with.
good luck.
