Hi Guys: I'm down to the final details, I need some input on lights, front and rear and a computer with BIG numbers. I know there are specific forums for this stuff BUT, WE, fat bike riders share similar riding situations, that is, out in the middle of nowhere at -10 with the wind screaming...I CANNOT WAIT!

Lights? I would recommend a Schmidt SON generator hub (requires a 100mm fork) with a supernova E-3 light...never buy batteries again!

Same lights, but the second one is quality control checked. As soon as I can, I'm buying one. If you can afford two, I'd go for it at that price.

I don't know about -10 F, but I'm happy to share my choice in lights and computer. I've operated this equipment between 10 degree F and 90 degree F.

Lights = Dinotte 800L + 400L combo is hard to beat price and performance. Love these lights.


Computer = Garmin Edge 705 Hard to get lost with a GPS, and it uploads cyclo comp stats to Mac or PC. Oh and you can upload others rides from www.mapmyride.com, www.singletracks.com, and www.trails.com. Well worth the money.
