So, it's my second ride out on my new bike (Jekyll 1000) and my buddy takes me to Whiting Ranch yesterday. As we climb to the top we quickly notice a bunch of rangers, and fire crews up there milling around. We stop and talk and come to find out, a film crew is doing a re-enactment of the lion attack up on cactus ridge (I think it was cactus ridge- first time not sure). So we ride by slowly and notice a rather large film crew, actors, fake blood, and a huge stuffed cat
- not too mention firemen and a helicopter circling overhead. One of the firemen was kind enough to offer their services if we had an accident- to which I said thank you, let's hope it doesn't come to that. Not to interrupt any further, we took off down the ridge. Just thought I'd share.
BTW- has anyone been in Chino Hills State Park recently? I haven't been in there in a long time, but only live 3 miles away from the park. Since I'm getting back into the sport, it's only a matter of time before I head over there. Any thoughts on the conditions? If not, I'll report in short order. Thanks.
