Raoul can be found (sometimes) lurking on the 29er forum....but not under his own name.scorcher seb said:They don't have a website, but Andy will have pics of most of those in existence on:
You might have to trawl through a bunch of other pics to find them. Don't know about the sub-three pound frame. Doubt it. The ones I've seen were Columbus Foco and mine is more than 3 lbs.
Phil will know prices etc. Not sure if Raoul lurks here.
I made it sound like I did, didn't I. But I meant that my Columbus Foco frame is more than 3 lbs (I think - haven't actually weighed it). It isn't a Ferrous but is very similar - admittedly probably a relatively heavy powdercoat compared to Raoul's hand-painted beauties.Singlespeedpunk said:Seb, you got a Ferrous then? Getting a bit common aren't they!
Nice. Thanks for the info. I would want more, of course, if the freaking dollar wasn't so weak (or the pound so strong?)...nightfire said:I have weighed mine twice. Once it came in at just under 3 once at about 3.15.
All Foco and very very thin. One brake boss (removed when weighed) and that is it apart from a couple of loops on the TT.
So far there are 7 complete Ferrous in existance.
Number 1 is the Red and White one as reviewed by STW and from the MTB exibit of art.Foco
Number 2 is The Ferrari Red with VIP one Raoul rode for a bit now Joe Rowing is riding it. Also Foco
Number 3 is mine, covered in Carbon also in Ferrari red with VIP.Foco
Number 4 is Andy A's as on Shitshifter, more Foco
Number 5 is my 29er, Zona Megatube
Number 6 is Another Foco beauty owned by Neils in Hamburg.
Number 7 is Raouls 29er. Tange Superstrong
Price depends on spec but around £900 for a Foco tubed custom with a really nice paint job.
Still want more?
