Try this link.Big K said:last year, I was advised by somebody on this forum to seek out an SKS fender with Lefty adapter for my Jeckyll. It has worked great and I appreciate the tip. The thing is, I have another Lefty-equipped bike coming and was planning to order the same setup -and- much to my surprise, the Lefty Adapters appear to be unavailable from all my usual sources. Can anybody help me solve this?
I am waiting on a callback from bicycletires.com.. unfortunately, their web site seems to be indicating a back-order situation. Hopefully I will find a couple of these things somewhere.mohall said:
If you feel like dealing with it, many fenders are mountable via a star nut in the bottom of the fork, and a bolt. You can get yourself a star nut for a 1.5 steerer, available in many places. Problem solved. Happy fendering.Big K said:I am waiting on a callback from bicycletires.com.. unfortunately, their web site seems to be indicating a back-order situation. I thought of another question which will definitely show my ignorance about the technical details of Cannondale. Could it be possible that Cannondale (post motorcycle venture/brush with death of company) have gone to a standard inner fork stem diameter -thus- eliminating the need to find a Lefty adapter? There isn't even mention of this adapter on SKS' web site anymore. Their standard connection is through the bottom of the fork stem and covers ranges from 17.5-30mm diameter The Lefty adapter is essentially a part that accomodates a wider diameter.
Thanks.
THe steer is the same inner dia. as it was. As Mendon says, you may consider a 1.5 star nut, and mount to that.Big K said:I am waiting on a callback from bicycletires.com.. unfortunately, their web site seems to be indicating a back-order situation. but could you steer me to the specific part name/number at Cane Creek? I'm searching their site and not finding it.zahgurim said:I was going to say the same thing...
If your LBS doesn't have any on hand, you can order them online from www.canecreek.com for $2 a pop.

I appreciate the lead on this.. can you confirm star nut needed is 1.5"? Is that the inside diameter of the fork stem on a Rush that I need to fit?Dan Gerous said:
Should fit, 1.5 is usually the outside diameter for the OnePointFive standard, the Lefty being a little bigger but the inside diameter have variations depending of wall thickness, butting and what not. The beauty of a star nut is that it adjusts itself to the diameter so you should have no problems. I never used a fender so I'll trust Mendon that you can fix it to the star nut.Big K said:I appreciate the lead on this.. can you confirm star nut needed is 1.5"?
