The fedex guy showed up at my door dressed in a Santa Suit with my Pearl White 6.6 in his bag. WOW, it is amazingly beautiful. Here are some pics of it in it's birthday suit. I cannot wait to build it tonight. The Cane Creek Double Barrel will be here for it next week.I almost just want to mount it on the wall it is so pretty.

Here are some pics:

You didn't have any nice, new parts you could put on it? Why all the old crap?

What does the frame weigh? You don't need power to weigh the thing - let's get with the program here AA!!

No those were all I could find laying around the garage. HAHA! As for frame weight. with the DHX-A it weighs in at 7.9 lbs. A little more than published. But man the thing looks so sexy, I'll put up with a couple of extra ounces. Wait a minute seems like I might have said that in college once or twice.

that's not a bad weight. My small Pack is approx 7.85 w/ the DHX - A and CK steelset.

Not bad at all. It will probably end up around 8.5 when I add the CCDB with Ti spring. From what I am guessing. I'll weigh it when I get it and post frame and shock weight. Did I say how nice this thing looks. You might not want to ride it pr see it, unless you have permission to spend the money to get one. Cause you are going to want it. Mark is coming over in a few, You are more than wlecome to stop by if you want on your way home.

cool frame

nice looking frame bulldog! can you take it off any sweet jumps, maybe get three feet of air. my bikes called a sledgehammer. it has shocks, pegs, and cards in the back wheel so it sounds like a crf450.

Picking the color is going to be the hardest part for me.
Very nice looking frame. Nice job catching the pearlesence in the paint. I didn't realize they meant it when they said "pearl" white. Intense has really added some beautiful frame colors this year. Someone posted a sparkle silver that really pops.

Let's see. Midnight blue. Steel Blue. Ti gold. Java. And now Pearl white. This gets tougher all the time. At least I think I've decided on a size.

Anxious to hear your ride report AA.

Man that pearl white is nice! I sure wish it was available when I ordered my small frame. I ended up ordering Steel Blue. I could have had Java but one of my riding buds has a Java on route right now so I didnt want to have the same color as he. Oh well, there is always Olympic PC a few miles away. Im sure after I have it the color wont really make any difference anyway. I just hope I can play around with other shocks due to the size of the frame.

I like the sound of your build, you just may not need the Uzzi any more, the 6.6 may be all the bike thats needed! The fork, rear shock, wheelset all scream big hits please!

Very sweet looking frame. I was waiting for one of the Boutique Bike guys to do the comparison to the Nomad, but it looks like you will be the first. We are all anxiously awaiting the ride report. :D
Since we are under snow, we'll defer to Appling's opinion on real rides, for now... :D Otherwise, all you'll get is our parking lot opinion, and thats just not damned good enough for bikes like this.

It might be a few days here as well. We had an ice storm for the past couple of days. So, hopefully once I get it built up the ice will be gone. Anywho, if it weren't for Boutique Bikes I wouldn't have the Uzzi or 6.6.

Hats off to Brian for the great CS.

I agree with double A, one of my freinds should be receiving his med. Java today and Brian ordered my small yesterday and I should have it in a few weeks, not bad for a backwoods lumberjack wearing a plad kilt with a dime novel do it your self law book written by Wyatt Earp. :D

Lovin ya Brian!

Sweeeeeeet Pearl White frame!

Man I've been debating between the Java and Pearl White but I think I'm going to go w/the P.W. I already have a White Tracer and a P.W. 5.5, what the heck might as well get another white bike.

Have fun buidling your bike!
