I gave buying a "disposable" tree years ago. I've got issues with having one in the house for two weeks, and then taking it to get recycled or whatever. I know they are grown on farms, but at $60-125 a pop around here I think it's a real waste of dough.

ouch 125? who would pay that kinda money?! it was nice in washington, go to a farm, pay 20 bucks for any tree on the lot, we would get like 15 footers. I'm feeling if your gonna buy a tree, buy a live one, so you can plant it later

lol, I am in WA state, those are tree lot prices, not cut your own.

Fraiser fir all the way!! You barely have to water them and the needles DO NOT fall off! They also have nice, strong branches for all of those ornaments...
