I need a new front tire for a new tubeless wheel build:

Maxic 819 Disc UST Rim (tubeless)
Stainless Steel Spokes
Hope Pro II 20mm hub
alloy nipples
total weight: <900g
Riding Terrain: 4 miles daily commute to and from work. All other terrain is aggressive single track with good jumps, brief down-hill sections, in a east, texas forrest type terrain. Has anyone else found a good kevlar based UST tire that they think would also work well for my purpose?

I like Continental tires. I use a Verticle Pro for my front wheel
and I have a Vapor on the back. Low rolling resistance, relatively
light weight, and predictability characterize them. These tires have
been nearly indestructible through all of the sloppy riding I have
subjected them to.

I would say Fat Alert/Big Betty combe or Nobby Nic, but I dont think they would do the trick because you use your bike to commute.

Even the 60A Maxxis (High Roller or Ignitors) wear rapidly on tarmac.

Both are superb. There is a michelin Extrem all-mountain 2.2 ( the grey one) which rollls well and lasts. Grip isn't as good as a High Roller and they are a bit more expensive but that would be my suggestion.

If wear isn't that big a deal, go for Maxxis, High Rollers front and rear or substitute an Ignitor or Larsen on the back for rolling efficiency
