I have never raced a fat bike before, what are my chances of winning? I have also never ridden on a groomed trail like that. What type of tire would one run for such an event? I'm thinking of doing it just for fun of "competing" with others and maybe having a beer, or two.
FWIW my tire choices are 4.8 JJ's, 45N Dillinger 5's studded, stock Barbegazi's, or a Gnarwal/Bargegazi combo stock on my Farley 7.
