Hi, I've been reading through the fat bike forum here for a while now and am liking what I see!

I'm guessing most of the posters here are from the US, but does anyone know of some good (perfer online) shops in Europe that deal with fat bike gear? Pugsley frames are easy to find but beyond that... Maybe the odd 48mm trials rim...

Cheers!

Josh.

the only fat bike specific parts are

frame
fork
tires, endos
rims, if you can get a pug you should be able to get the large marge rims.
100mm bottom bracket.

www.chainreactioncycles.com has a lot of stuff for just about the best prices around. i found the bottom bracket there and some carbon forks that will work.
The bottom brackets are actually available as a downhill product. The only fat bike specific items are frame, fork, wheels and tires. Actually, Endo's are the only "fat specific" item, really. Everything else you can make work.

UK readers?
Hi from the UK !

I think the only regular contributors to this forum from the UK are myself and Coastkid.

Billys do Surly stuff :- http://www.billys.co.uk/english/search.php?delboth=del&search=surly

Alternate rims here :- http://www.unicycle.uk.com/Shop/sho...id=8&cat=Unicycle Spares&ParentID=8&subcat=34

As already said CRC cover some bases.

Ebay can be useful sometimes.

This shop in America does good mail order as well :- http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/High-Intensity-Bike-Shop__W0QQ_armrsZ1

Pug frame in the UK :- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/surly-Pugsley...34.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|301:1|293:1|294:30

Hope that helps,
cheers,
Dr FG

Interesting post... I'm a small hobby frame-builder, living in the french Alps, and I'm also wondering if there's a market for fat-bikes in the Alps, or more generally, in Europe. I would really love to build one for myself, if all the specific parts were not so expensive...

all the companys as said above plus most bike shops use ISIN the surly importers,
you can get 100mm phil wood BBs here in the UK though you may have to wait a few weeks if they need to order it stateside,
why not just order all the stuff from the USA in one go from one shop then just pay the import tax, consider this if you dont want a pugsley,ie speedway cycles,
