I've been running small block 8's on my 2006 enduro for a couple years. I mostly ride in Auburn, Ca and Tahoe - hard pack, rocky, long climbs, jumps, fast downhills, berm turns, some sand, etc. Not much mud.

I switched from Nevegals to the SB 8's for faster climbing and have been very impressed by the SB 8, usually running about 25 psi. It's about time to replace them and I'm wondering if there is another tire I should try? I'm running them on Azonic Outlaws. My bike and rims are a bit heavy, so I'm trying to get the most out of a fast rolling tire (cheaper then buying a new bike or new rims).

Thanks for any input.

Bontrager 29-1, Spec Renegade are both faster rolling than the SB 8. Hell, a Rocket Ron beats it too, and blows it out of the water for grip.

Pretty much all of the above are faster, with better traction.
