Fairly priced Hydration Packs in Manitoba?

Where can one buy decently priced Hydration Packs in Winnipeg?

LBS prices seem extremely high and i am not a fan of the MEC packs.

I am specifically looking at the CamelBak MULE or HAWG but am open to others.

Thanks,
C

Have a look at SportChek. I got my Camelback at one of their stores, and according to their website they do have them.

No way around it - they're expensive. Especially if you want a decent one like the two you've mentioned.

You could try MEC's packs. Their prices are quite good, and Winnipeg has a store on Portage now.

I deal at Wilderness Supply Co. - Ask for Rick or Katrina, and tell them Mike Anderson sent ya!

Good luck!

It looks like i am going to have to maybe go with one of the large MEC packs. I really like the HAWG though :)

The prices for CamelBak stuff isn't even close in canada compared to jensonusa.com etc
Go to Gord's - great selection and awesome staff. I just bought a HAWG from them last week, after 4 years with an MEC pack. The difference isn't even funny - the MEC one is a peice of junk in comparison.

Think of it as an investment - keep good care of it, and it will last you a long time.
What did you pay for it? It's hard to justify paying 50% more just because we are in Canada
I guess you have to reason with what you see as value added, and set your own price accordingly. I think the Camelback is worth much more than the MEC one.
Hydration packs
