Hi Guys,

Just a question for those who have bought a Mojo frame and did a self build.

Prior to installing the bottom bracket and cranks, is it necessary to have the bottom bracket shell "faced" and/or "chased"?

Or is the frame already fully machined and ready to go with installation?

I understand if the BB shell isn't 100% square, you can have vibration and other problems with your cranks.

Is this an issue with the Mojo frame?

I didn't have mine faced. I bought from a reputable shop, and they did some prep on the frame, but did not face the BB. What they did do was face the rear brake mounts.

None required, I checked all mine and they were fine on my SL, so I just built her right up... :thumbsup:

My SL actually had to be faced whereas my standard Mojo carbon had perfect threads. Best to check before installing
