Anyone on here ride a F4000 SL? Is the only difference between a F4000 SL and F2000 SL the "Si" crankset (same tubing)? Can you buy a F2000 SL frame only, no fork? Thanks! :)

Do you mean a current model year? These bikes are speced so different that the only common part is the frame. (along with the tires, pedals, headset, and stem.) That is it.

oops

I should have been more specific. I meant the difference between the frames. I wanted to know if they are the same frame, with the excpetion of the 4000 SL having the Si crankset/bottom bracket?

No difference in the frame although I'm not sure about the BB threading. That could be different, but probably not.

I don't really see any ride difference in an Optimo or Furio either. Owning a frameset of each, I cannot tell the difference in ride quality.

Frames are the same except for the BB shell. The f4000 Si bb shell has no threads. If you want to run a conventional bb in a frame with an Si bb shell you apparently have to get an adapter. The addapter has threads inside which let you put in a conventional bottom bracket.

Somehow that inegrated bottom bracket stuff just seems like a bad idea to me.

Look here..

http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/tech/misc_components.html

for the link to the pdf of the manual for the installation of said adapter. The link is about 3/4 of the way down that page. It has a drawing that gives you a good idea what I'm talking about.
