Looks a bit different at night.
Funny, at night in, your picture I assumed he was climbing up this. But it was cool to come up on this section of the trail and recognise it. It definitly made me stop. As I was aproaching I saw tracks going off to the left. And the way this section of trail just drops off I thought the trail ended and I was suppossed to be on the trail to the left. So I'm slowly rolling along, looking to my left, and then suddenly notice this rocky, sandy drop to the left and was like. Whoa! Hit the brakes!!! :)

Funny thing is that it was my first time there, so I took the first single track I saw when I climbed up the road, went right, dropped down this trail and I was back to the road and up to my car in like 10 minutes. Short ride!!! :)

And then even more funny, I go back up do a much larger loop out there for a couple hours at least. ( holly crap was it windy! ) And then I wanted to end the ride by hitting that section of trail again since that was a fun little decent. And I did the exact same thing rolling up to this drop and looking ot the left thinking I went the wrong way!!! :)

Both times I had to backtrack a bit and come at it again. Maybe the next time I go I will actually be looking at the trail ahead of me so I don't have to hit the brakes. :)

Same here SSweatleaf.

Thanks for the intro to the Santa Fe area. Hope I wasn't too much of an anchor on you and Skipndizzy.

It's a little closer for me to do White Mesa than it is to do Santa Fe and I'll actually be able to breath our thicker air down here.
