A unique ride...
however, unlike the others, I find the "feel" of scandium softer than steel... as in more flexible. Super light weight and used as a race frame because of it's handling and quick response on the trails. I make this distinction with some experience from the best of all worlds. I have a 97 Kona Explosif (steel), a 97 Kona King Kahuna (Ti) and a 05 Kula Primo (Sc).
The scandium frame has a ride quality in between Ti and steel. Closer in nature to Ti but not as stiff as steel. Definately a frame worth buying. It's one of the finest riding frames I have owned.
