My advice is do not.

I did it to find a way to stop the sweat from accumulating on the nitrogen fill port and rusting it out.

When I cycled the shock most of the way through it's travel the reservoir would hit the frame before all the shaft was used. The frame is a large size too.

Nitrogen fill port????

Don't you find your frame is in the way of your dripping sweat?

Hey my02,

I find that the frame does get in the way, but the sweat (and there is a lot) runs down the frame and into the adjustment dial area.

The little t25 screw head between the compression and rebound knobs is for nitrogen charge if I recall correctly. Always ready to be corrected though!
