Um...no. I've seen plenty of bad shots that a $3000 camera won't fix. If you don't have a good eye, you won't take good pictures. Of course, I'm not talking about you personally.
Likewise, I've taken some good pictures with my really cheap Nikon that I bought back in 2004-2005. Heck, I don't think today's cheapest digitals are that bad. Sure, picture quality could definitely improve, but the shots are good. I'm upgrading pretty soon.
I like those photos but frankly am getting tired of seeing bikes in the air doing tricks. It is easy to create dramatic shots when your subjects are dramatic. I would like to see some other aspects of mountain biking from time to time, not everyone is a huckmeister which is why mtbr passion posts are nice, great pictures of people enjoying mountain biking, nothing more nothing less.
