I'm a member of the Muddbunnies Riding Club in Vancouver and occasionally post articles as "The Road Trip Queen". Here's one about a recent ride to Elfin Lakes in Squamish:

BTW - other than the snow patches and a horrendous amount of bugs in the forested area, the trail/road is in great condition. Best ridden on a sunny day, of course, if you want to see the views.
