What would you recommend for cranks? I am about to build a new one. Ordering the frame tomorrow.

I am thinking about White Industries or Middleburn.

Any recommendations?

any cranks are fine to be honest...pick whatever feels best.

between the white industries and middleburn?...the only tangible factor i see is that if you want to run a bash with your cranks you cant do so with White Industries. I have had both and like em both

Both are good choices but the White Industries gets my choice do mainly to esthetics.

Plus the White Industries stuff is a little easier to come by.

perhaps, but WI are for poseurs...far too many of them on the trail for my liking. gheyness factor has worn off now that everybody thinks they too need a SS to look the gnar part at the trailhead
