Echo and surrounding area

Friends. I brought my HT from Tucson, AZ to Umatilla, OR for the holidays. I was thinking of doing the Echo Trail system one of the days but the heavy snow kinda put a hold on those plans.
Would the Echo trail system be okay if the snow melts or should I avoid it?

Wish I could offer advice but I've only visited the Echo trail system once -- last year in March for the Red To Red race -- there was no snow at that time, rather, dry conditions.
My guess is by now you've probably already given up on getting info via this thread and called a LBS but if not, I suggest you do so.
Perhaps Scott's Cycle & Sports in Hermiston 541-567-1848? Good luck with your ride options.

Thank you Sir! I was a step ahead of you and hit the head on the nail. I did in fact call Scotts a few days ago. They did recommend the Echo trail and thought it would be fine even considering the dump of snow we had a few days ago. Anyways, the young lad also recommended a fire road trail from McNary Dam to Rock Hat. I ended up doing that run two mornings in a row. Fine fire road trail with some singletrack options getting a bit too close to the edge of the rocks and river. Even managed to get 2nd place overall on the Strava segment  also spotted two bald eagles!
