Has anyone ever modified a shimano-style axle endcap to fit the Easton XD driver? I picked up the driver a while back and it didn't come with endcaps. Talked with Easton and they do not sell the endcaps individually for the XD Driver, they only come as a kit.

Update

I don't think the cap can be modified.

I tried sanding down the lip (shown on the left) but the cassette still binds when tightening down on the bike. Also, I think the spacing is a couple mm long judging by the way it slides into the dropouts. I have another 142 wheel I used for comparison.
