Haven't posted in a while but I picked up my first fatbike a few weeks ago and I'm pretty stoked about it. More and more of the local trails are getting groomed including some new this year very technical coastal ones. It's a blast. Picked up one of those Northrock XCF fatbikes from Costco of all places. It comes with 10sp deore drivetrain this year so that was a major factor. I ditched the 155mm cranks and 34t front ring for an old set of LX cranks and a 30t NW ring and the stock 650mm bar for a 710mm Chromag one I had lying around and swapped the stock tires for a set of Vee Bulldozers that I got off a friend for cheap. It does the trick for a total investment of less than $700.
