I'm new to MTB so new I don't even have a bike yet. However I was wondering if anyone knew of some good trails to ride in the area. Or if your in the area, and know of someone who's selling/good stores I'd love to hear from you. I want to get riding as soon as possible, its tough being patient saving and looking for just the right bike.

As utabrintarbo said, for all MI questions, visit The Michigan Mountain Biking Association. If they can't answer a question regarding MI trails, than no one can.
In the immediate East Lansing / Lansing we don't have much. Burchfield Park in Holt (SW of Lansing), Anderson Park (Still in construction, SW Lansing). Slightly further out is Sleepy Hollow State Park (NE of Lansing), and Bennett Park (SW of Lansing). However, the best trails are about 1 hour outside Lansing (Poto, Yankee Springs, Fort Custer, etc.)
